Pensioner Members ► Keeping SAUL up to date As a pensioner member it is essential that you keep SAUL up to date with changes in your personal details or your address. We need to know about any changes so we can contact you about the Scheme and your benefits and ensure that you are receiving the benefits to which you are entitled. Pensioners should contact our pension payroll team in the first instance. |

Change of address If you move house you need to inform us of your new address in writing. Please include your old address and ensure that you sign the letter. Alternatively you can complete a change of address form. Change of bank details Please inform us of any change to your bank or building society account in writing and ensure you sign the letter. Alternatively you can complete a change of bank details form. Changes in marital status It is important that you keep us up to date if you marry, enter a civil partnership or divorce. This is because there are valuable benefits available to spouses, civil partners or other dependent adults in the event of a member’s death in retirement. We also need to know if your name changes in these circumstances. If you marry or enter a civil partnership please send SAUL Trustee Company a copy of the original marriage or civil partnership certificate. We will return this immediately by recorded delivery.. Changing your name If you change your name please send SAUL Trustee Company a copy of your original deed of name change or other formal document. We will return this immediately by recorded delivery. Letter of Intent In the event of the death of a SAUL pensioner within 5 years of retirement, a valuable tax free lump sum may be payable. The Trustee of SAUL uses its discretionary powers to decide who should receive this lump sum. The Letter of Intent is a confidential letter to the Trustee stating a member's wishes in the event of their death. |
