Pensioner Members ► Keeping SAUL up to date

As a pensioner member it is essential that you keep SAUL up to date with changes in your personal details or your address. We need to know about any changes so we can contact you about the Scheme and your benefits and ensure that you are receiving the benefits to which you are entitled. Pensioners should contact our pension payroll team in the first instance.

If you marry or enter a civil partnership please send SAUL Trustee Company a copy of the original marriage or civil partnership certificate. We will return this immediately by recorded delivery..

Letter of Intent

In the event of the death of a SAUL pensioner within 5 years of retirement, a valuable tax free lump sum may be payable. The Trustee of SAUL uses its discretionary powers to decide who should receive this lump sum. The Letter of Intent is a confidential letter to the Trustee stating a member's wishes in the event of their death.

If you are a SAUL member it is very important that you complete a Letter of Intent and keep it up to date - particularly if you are not married to your partner, in a civil partnership or if your family circumstances change. Please forward your completed form to SAUL Trustee Company – you can find our address here.
