SAUL joins investors seeking information on labour practices
27 July 2017
SAUL is pleased to have joined the Workforce Disclosure Initiative (WDI), a coalition of 79 institutional investors with combined assets of nearly $8 trillion, asking the world’s biggest companies how they treat their employees.
Organised and coordinated by Shareaction, the WDI aims to obtain information about how companies manage their global workforces.
Companies are being asked about their governance, the stability and composition of their workforce, training and development and how they engage with their employees. Oxfam is working with Shareaction to ensure the data collected from companies is useful and they will support investors, companies and societies to help improve their employment practices.
The results will allow investors, like SAUL, to understand how companies are managing their workforces and help in encouraging good practice.
More information can be found on the Shareaction website.
