The calculators can help you understand more about what you might get from SAUL, how much membership costs and how to pay more.
Take Home Pay Calculator
SAUL members pay 6% of their salary in to the Scheme but the actual cost of membership is less because they pay less tax and National Insurance.
Why not use the calculator to find out the actual difference SAUL membership would make to the money you receive each month.
The take home pay calculator can only be used for salaries under £100,000. You won't be able to use the calculator if you're a higher rate tax payer living in Scotland.
On 1 April 2016 SAUL changed, with all members now building up benefits on a CARE basis.
This new calculator has been designed to help you see what you might get from SAUL in the future, regardless of whether you were previously a member of the Final Salary Plan or CARE Plan before SAUL changed.
Your Annual Statement shows the value of your SAUL benefits at 31 March 2016. You'll need this to use the calculator.
The calculator uses assumptions that might be different from your own circumstances.
Additional Pension Calculator
SAUL members pay 6% of their salary in to the Scheme but you can choose to pay more if you want to get additional pension from SAUL when you retire.
Use the calculator to find out how more you could get from SAUL and how much you would pay each month.
